Do not get defeated and willingly wave your white flag. Be strong and know your value and potential.

Do not prepare for the worst at first instance. Instead try to maintain positive attitude and mindset, exercise control, and focus on doing your job well. Show them nothing can faze you.

Do not jump to conclusions. You never know how things will ultimately turn out. Ask yourself, have you give it your all?

Do not go down without a fight. Meaning do everything you can to resolve and stay in the game.

Leverage your resources, seek consul/guidance, assess the situation, and make contingency plans.

You control your destiny.
