I read her farewell letter and helplessly broke down. The thought of it as I am writing this gets me teary.
There are just so few of us and her journey was and will continue to be inspiring.
The truth is it is incredibly difficult to climb the ladder for anyone let alone a minority and a woman. But it does happen and not without a price. The price tag often paid in sacrificing personal life and/or relationships. Its worth weighing heavily on the back burner somewhere.
We were taught to strive for our dreams but no one truly prepare us for the hurdles. And that these hurdles are vital to future success as they teach us endurance and prepare us for bigger roles ahead. Some chose to give up and pursue other paths while others harness courage to overcome and strengths to keep going.
And so this is life and among its many cycles. There will be ups and downs and that is just part of the journey. What we can do is pace ourselves for the ups and prepare ourselves for the downs. We can not let these life swings astray us from our paths and future endeavors.
We have to learn to embrace, own, and direct each cycle to the next and brighter chapter.
I’m extremely impressed with your writing skills as well as with the layout on your weblog. Is this a paid theme or did you modify it yourself? Anyway keep up the nice quality writing, it’s rare to see a great blog like this one nowadays..
Good web site! I really love how it is simple on my eyes and the data are well written. I am wondering how I could be notified when a new post has been made. I’ve subscribed to your RSS which must do the trick! Have a great day!
